	Made commencement speech in 1996 after being selected by the senior class

	Faculty sponsor of the Youth and Government Club which entails being a faculty advisor for the Virginia Model General Assembly, the Model Judiciary Program, the Youth Policy Forum held at the Virginia State Capitol, and the Virginia Student Parent Mock Election
	Faculty sponsor of the Foreign Policy Club for ten years which entailed being a faculty advisor for the Model Organization of American States every year and for numerous Model United Nations Conferences
